To everyone who blames us for using lots of data.. try living without Wi-Fi, or walk a mile in our shoes. #Hatersbehatin
Exactly! I don't have wifi at home and on campus it's barely every a good 54mbps connection so I still gotta use 4g to keep a good connection if I'm streaming Netflix or crackle or sending/receiving large files. I agree with you completely

Haha. You must have it bad.. I mean, I can't get cable or DSL, I can only get 300kbps satellite or throttled 2kbps Verizon 3g. #4gwhereyouatOriginally Posted by bens42608
Lol. Thought I would put in my 2 cents, I am a security guard and sit in my truck all night streaming netflix/pandora/youtube/ etc. I have hit quite high!
Hahahahahahahahahaha! Eat that Verizon. And I have never been throttled, had questions asked, warned, or anything else.
And the last time I went in to Verizon, they told me that when I upgrade (in 4 months) as long as I upgrade to another smart phone, that I would REMAIN GRANDFATHERED INTO UNLIMITED DATA. Sometimes going to the source works to clear up rumors. I know whooda thunk? :banghead:

Verizon got rid of throttling and put in network optimization from my understanding. Not sure if its the same thing.. but they only "throttle" the top 5% of unlimited 3g users. I'm pretty sure they don't throttle 4g because of the bandwidth capabilities that a tower now has.Originally Posted by AcridGosling
