They mainly cause you to use more battery and make your phone run slower!

02-19-2011 05:50 PMThis may be ignorant but its my view. The biggest antivirus company's have to constantly update to keep the worlds PC's protected.
The general idea of an update is to catch up, improve, make better.
So with out any virus(or minimal virus's) known to the android platform how could they protect against an unknown enemy? If you don't know how, where and what to look for how can you stop it. Once they hit in a real way, and they will then I see a need for antivirus software.
I know nothing its just my thoughts.
