About LinkBacksSo basically what I'm trying to do is copy all of my SD card from my phone to my computer so i can reformat it. I have a lot of unwanted, unused and unknown folders on my card and would really like to start over. However I do have a few things I don't want to lose on there. Like my adw settings a few nandroid backups and such. However when I try to copy from my card to my computer to have a copy my phone just disconnects. I have tried to just take the mini card out and using a converter plug it directly to my computer and copy it that way but it just doesn't recognize the card. Anyone know a way to copy anything from my card? Or should I just suck it up reformat it and go from scratch.

02-14-2011 07:05 AMIf you're using a PC, you should be able to connect the phone to a USB socket on the computer, then go to Windows Explorer and drag and drop. I don't know which Droid folders contain the apps and so forth, but I know this works for pictures and various types of files (music, audio, podcasts, etc).

02-14-2011 08:27 AMYea I tried to connect my phone to the computer. My problem is anytime I try to copy something from my SD card to my phone it just disconnects. I can copy anything I want/any size to my card.

02-15-2011 01:25 AMYou haven't said. Does it do it if you take one at a time? Or no matter what. What I was thinking if your highlighting all at once you may have a corrupt file that will crash the whole thing. This happens alot with computers and such.
