Different way to answer phone besides slide across

Is there another type of way to answer the touch screen droid?

A friend of mine is really annoyed with it.

I apologize to all if I am not asking for the right program type

Here's 2 apps that give you buttons to answer your phone instead of the slider:

Tedd's Droid Tools

myLock phone tools

I've been happily using Tedd's Droid Tools for months without any problems.

NOTE: If you use Tedd's Droid Tools it takes a "long press" on the button to answer your phone.
But that's a good thing so you don't press the Answer or Ignore button by an accidental bump.

If you install Widgetlocker, not only can you change your lockscreen around (including adding widgets to it), but you can set some of the different hardware buttons to answer the phone.

Tedd's Tools does not work with Gingerbread and above. Any other suggestions?
