Now you can try out Gamelofts games for free!!
Alright well i downloaded and installed that Gangstar game. But when you boot it up, it asks to install 35MB of content, but it just hangs after a couple of seconds. The bar stops loading.
Anyone else having trouble?? Moto Droid btw.
finally a good step for earning more trust and respect from the buyers. but they really should change their mind and release their games in the android market. would be much more comfortable.
terrible business model that really upsets me as an android user. I sent an email to customer support complaining about having to pay through my accounts bill and they offered me a couple solutions for phones I DONT HAVE. They then tried to tell me that the goal is to provide good games AND make a profit. That really set me off as I felt as though my intelligence was insulted considering the app store and the android market both take 30% of profits. After I said that I owned a Droid the rep told me that the only way to buy with a Droid is with a credit card, which completely contradicted what I had read about how to buy their games. It's different across different devices which is freaking ridiculous. I never knew gameloft existed until today, all of these great games I never knew existed for android because they wont use the market which is a HUGE inconvenience. I am not in favor of this business model, its why I refuse to buy from EA for Android, and I will refuse to buy from Gameloft until they release their products onto the Android market.
edit: another thing I hate is there is no price to be found for these games, they dont show you until after you enter ll your info on their website. Where is the common freaking courtesy to show you up front how much a product is, its ridiculous.

It is a step forward but they need to suck it up and release these games on the market. They should treat android users with a little more respect. I bought Nova and its pretty awesome, and have downloaded trials of some of their other games. They really do make some great games. I'm not a big fan of touch controls as the primary control but with Nova and sandstorm they work well.
And has anyone seen the trailers for their new games splinter cell conviction and zombie infection (resident evil 4/5 clone)? They look great. I'd really like to buy them but unfortunately its only for iPhone at the moment. Maybe they would sell more games on android handsets if they would actually make them available in android market. Seems like common sense to me.
