Hey I have the Moto Droid running stocked android 2.1
I have no problem getting the games to run with psx4droid, but my issue is actually playing the games. It lags like crazy and the sound is so choppy its almost impossible to make out anything. Response to controls is ridiculously slow and the entire movement in the game is super slow. I tried messing with the framerate but it didn't change anything.
Can someone please tell me how to get it to run properly or point me to a tutorial?
first post here. yay! hate for it to be a pesky question,
But I put the unecm.exe on my desktop and put a .data.bin.ecm file into it and it extracts, but I have no idea where it extracts to. Any ideas?

Specify psx bios file? Says this when I start it up in the settings and can't do anything else or find what file to pick. What a complicated app really needs to simplify this or alot of people ain't gonna pay especially $6 I debated for bout an hour before I bought lol someone please start a guide?
*edit* nvm finally found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734919

i just dled this today, and i ran ff8 for about 20 mins at 800mhz, and noticed considerable slowdowns in the world map, but no problems during battles. i've noticed people saying they see slowdowns at 1ghz also? what is everybody seeing? lets start posting up things we find out so that we can help everyone out.
the only problem i could see with putting my phone up to 1ghz to run these would be battery life. the battery is going to drain considerably more when its clocked up to 1ghz constantly just to run these games as opposed to the 800hmz i am running right now.
either way, i am getting mad jollies out of playing ff8 on this.

i think this app should be getting more support by its developer... no updates at all, is he even trying to fix all the issues it has? does some1 know about it?
