looking for some thoughts on which chess app is the best.
Caissa is the strongest of the four. Chess is the weakest, but it looks the nicest. Chess Classics is 3D. Versus allows internet playing. But since Caissa's next update includes multiplayer, I chose that. I think 3D chess on the iPhone uses its capabilities, but if you want a program to play chess, it's a lot easier playing on a 2D board (which Classics has, but Caissa is still stronger). I was stuck between Caissa and Versus, but I remember Versus from jailbreak and noted that I didn't see many online players...actually, the only players I was able to play with Versus Chess on the jailbreak was the default computer players which wasn't a challenge at all.
So far my favorite Android Chess App for playing correspondence chess is "Chess Mates" by Epic Pockets Software. They got some pretty fun and entertaining Chess Sets you can use which keeps the game fresh for me. You can download it at https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...chessmatesfree
Invite me to a game I would love to play against you "EpicOfChaos" is my name.
