    Slow droid, unhappy wife.

    My wife has a D1 that has slowed down and acts like it is gumed up, is there a way to clean up the caches in her phone, stock unrooted.

    My phone I would clean the dalvik cach but I am rooted and she is not, also I use cachmate on my phone, is there an unrooted version.

    I dont want to root her phone as I can compare mine to hers and see if there are preformance differances, and besides I want the super cool droid.

    Factory data reset is about it for an unrooted phone, as far as I'm aware.

    You could install SPR and then put a rooted FRG22D ROM on it. She'd probably never know and you could speed it up for her. Then you could throw a pink theme on it just to drive her nuts.

    Hahah root and overclock her damn phone. Your phone is only going to go so fast. Ps og droids are slow even oveclocked, and with the roms out right now I doubt your phone will get much better.

    Just do the factory data reset. Make sure you don't have any antivirus or task killers. She will be fine.

    Yup, I got rid of both my Lookout and Taskiller and it was night and day.
