Droid 2 - delete widget?

This is a discussion on Droid 2 - delete widget? within the Android Forum forums, part of the Droid Discussions category; I can't seem to eliminate the "Messages" widget . Held it down, moved it toward the trash can, it turned red....and nothing! Can anybody help? ...

    Angry Droid 2 - delete widget?

    I can't seem to eliminate the "Messages" widget . Held it down, moved it toward the trash can, it turned red....and nothing! Can anybody help?

    try launcherpro it is better then the stock home imo. I can still use the d2 widgets I like but not all the other bloat
