Gasp! I was going to buy a docking system for it, but I had a problem since I have a casing on my phone and the charger portion of the dock wouldn't fit but this is great. I hope we get to see instructions soon. Good work. =)

I built 2. Add side tabs to hold in place a magnet to activate dock mode or car mode. One was built for the desktop. The other was built for the car, which looks the same but I add arms that extend down to give an ajustable base in my cup holder. It works great thanks for the ideas.
I was looking for a fold up portable stand for traveling. This might fit the bill, but I wonder what this looks like on airport x-ray
Droid does some cool and amazing things. Yet it does not do some basic stuff that has been stock on most phones for years. It makes me think the Google developers were marooned in some kind of a 1977 LOST flashback/flashforward/sideways combo reality gameshow
A case with flip out stand legs and a right angle charger might be a safer bet for the air port. Unless you enjoy being delayed buy point less questioning.
Thanks for the great idea!! I was a little bored today and thought I'd give it a try, following is my result, I used tig wire instead of a coat hanger though...

Really nice work, you got the angles right.
A little Plasti Dip on the wire would make it grip better and remove the possibility of scratching your Droid.![]()
a little obsessive...

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.
