Can i root a flashed droid?

I don't know if some one asked this but, i just pay to get my droid flashed from Verizon to Pocket.

my questions are can i root my droid? can i still update my droid to 2.1 even if its flashed by pocket?

i can't use data connection because of the flash is there a way to fix that?

sorry for all the questions but i think its better for space and time saving for you guys

Ok yes you can still root your Droid. You will not receive and OTA update of 2.1 but you can force the 2.1 update. It seems your Droid was only flashed for voice and text but not Data and MMS, from what i have read it is possible to flash it for data but unfortunately i can neither instruct you or direct you to instructions on how to do this.

Never even heard of someone in the situation you are in..I wouldn't even know where to start, try alldroid.org development section.
