I am so glad you have some hope! Remember, if that site can't get them, another software program may have a different method that works for you. Good luck...and post a pic of your baby once you get them back!![]()

Glad you're getting your pictures back. Not that this would have helped you currently, but maybe in the future...make sure you occasionally take the pictures from your SD card and back them up onto your computer.That's what I've been doing for several years now and it works.
Thank you to all who have served or are serving our great country. You're always in my thoughts and prayers.

If it's important, always back stuff up no matter where it is stored (especially on a mobile device that can easily get damaged/lost).
Glad you got them back!
hi weisscl, There is always a chance of sd card recovery , but you have not overwrite the photos on it. Using sd card recovery software, it is possible to recover your lost photos.
If you don't want others to see your photos use a free Windows program with the free zonealarm
firewall otherwise the programs might call home without you knowing it
or PhotoRec with Ubuntu.
Using PhotoRec is relatively easy and selfexplanatory-
It is totally free Download the latest Ubuntu ISO file from Ubuntu homepage | Ubuntu
and just burn a copy to DVD or CD and start from it.
Insert the SD card or disk or boot it on the computer where you accidentally deleted files.
Then go to SYSTEM->Second Entry from top->Synaptic.
Choose SETTINGS->PACKET SOURCES
Check the empty checkboxes.
Choose OK->MARK 3dchess->TYPE testdisk->RIGHT CLICK testdisk
->CHOOSE install->COOSE OK.
Now go to (upper left) APPLICATIONS->ACCESSORIES->TERMINAL
In the terminal TYPE sudo su->TYPE photorec
Now choose from the settings and don't save to the same partition that
you are trying to rescue files from.
me and my college roomie were both writing papers back in the 3.5 floppy days. My theory of "save often" paid off. Everytime I would even stop to lean back and stretch, take a piss, get something to drink, whatever, I saved.
Roomy did not.
Well, the unlikely occurred.... power went out, very briefly, but long enough to have to reboot the computers.
I lost 2 paragraphs, he lost his entire 10 pages (or however much he had done)
Friday afternoon rituals has me backing up my pictures to my computer every week. Mine aren't important as say baby pictures, but provocitive pics sent from young hawties are just as important to a single guy sometimes, as baby pics are parents. lol

Never keep any photos you value in a Smartphone for long. Especially an Android phone.

Always use "my backup pro". set it up to do backup in the middle of the night when your phone is not in use. You will always have it saved to your sd card for safe keeping. Don't blame the phone for your lack of preparation. Sorry for your loss.
