I tried to search but didn't get much. I'm tired of going to webpages and it loading only the crappy mobile ver. is there any way around this? like to hide from the site that I'm on a phone.
Some browsers will allow you to change the "user agent" that tells the site what type of browser you're using. Don't know about the default browser but xScope DOES allow for this. Check it out here.

If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.

as said on a similar thread; dolphin and xscope allows you to change the user agent to either android, iphone, or desktop.
