Ubuntu Linux (vs. Android) for phones and tablets

Ubuntu isn't optimized for touch if you ask me, Honeycomb does a better job, although it's obviously not as feature rich as a full blown desktop OS like Ubuntu.

I like my Android as it is. Let's see Canonical step up their game on the desktop first before they venture on to mobile devices.

I heard this app need dual-core, so I think I can't use it.

Its still not "real" because it will still rely on android for the phone functions.

What we need its a true distro with gnu userspace tools for the phone functions.

Not holding my breath though.
