About LinkBacksI just got a replacement droid x because it refused to install OTA gingerbread version 4.5.596.MB810. I was rooted on Froyo 2.2.1 now i need root access. Ive tried using Z4root which doesnt work. Tried Gingerbreak V1.2 doesnt work. I need one click options as I don't understand bootstraping or any of that stuff and I don't have money to purchase apps. I'm very aggrivated. I backed up all my apps, data and settings to My Backup Root while on Froyo and need root access to obtain all my phone data!!! Thank you!

06-09-2011 06:27 PMTo get root, you will have to sbf back to Froyo, then install the TBH rooted .596 version.
There is no way to root the OTA as of right now.
