    Help setting mp3 as ringtone

    I have ringtones which I downloaded in mp3 format and I email them to my phone but i dont know how to set them as ringtone when i access them through my email and download them onto the phone...they save to the sd card but i dont know how to set them as a ringtone it doesn't seem to let me even when i find it on the phone it only plays or lets me share it...please helppp!

    You can do one of two things:

    1. Create a directory called ringtones on your SD card and move the MP3 inside there. You can then set the MP3 as a ringtone.

    2. use an app such as RingDroid which will take an MP3 and let you use the full song or set part of the song as your ringtone.
