Does Verizon monitor what you download when you tether?

I use Easythether to tether my droid to my PC. So lately iv been downloading a lot of torrents mainly movies and i was wondering if Verizon monitors what i am downloading and find out I'm tether my droid and breaking the Verizon contract rules?

They cant, but they can monitor what user agent you're using on the network(so if your tethering they can tell), but they don't do that unless you exceed 5 GB/month, even then, they probably wont

Lol I have downloaded a total of 30 gigs in a month and Verizon didn't / hasn't said anything yet (knocking on wood )

Theoretically they could charge you for all of the data you used while tethering. No one has had a problem as of yet.

However, it's people such as yourself that may ruin it for the rest of us. Keep your data usage down, and quit downloading copyrighted material.
