Video to Gmail?

Hi Everyone!

I'm brand new to the droid so I need some helpers please
I took about a 10 second video this morning (not-HD) and tried emailing it via gmail to my friend and he got the email with no video. I emailed it to myself and the same result. Is there something i am missing? I have the HTC Droid Incredible with the newest firmware update..2.2 I believe.

I don't have a Droid, but because your question has been sitting here unanswered for a while, I figured I'd might offer a suggestion.

With your Gmail account, you should be able to use Picasa WebAlbums, which actually integrates pretty nicely with Android in general. Video's you upload there appear in your Gallery App, and you can also share videos that way.

Another solution would be to share the file through DropBox, a free online file-service.

Not sure why the file would not send through Gmail though. Did you try and send it through gmail using the web browser?

I just downloaded Android SendIT from the market ... it lets you send any sized video to anyones email address

It worked perfectly for me and I didn't have to post the video to some public website for everyone to see
