Music Interruption While Receiving Text Message?

Ok i understand that music playback with be interrupted when you receive a phone call, it would be pointless to have your music playing while on a phone call..

But, when receiving a text while listening to music stops my playback completely then vibrates twice and then the music will come back. At other times the music will pause and not return after.

Is there anyway to change a setting to have the text notification not interrupt the music playback?

I have "Advance Task Manager" when I listen to music or watch a video
I turn off all backround apps - not to mention it saves battery life.

Or you can go into your menues and shut off notifications.

I also use Advanced Task Manager, where would this preference be?
