Webkey is a cool app, allowing you to control your entire phone, and get the GPS coordinates as well. I've got Mobile Defense, its good, but webkey just does so much more. Check it out!!

How are you testing? I mean, it can't return GPS coordinates if it can't get a fix. If it's indoors or otherwise doesn't have line of sight to the GPS satellites or if it can't obtain a fix for any other reason (my Droid periodically seems to have issues obtaining one even in ideal conditions) then there's nothing for it to provide.
