10-14-2010 08:18 AM"Must have" depends on who you ask. There are tons of app suggestion threads here that you can reference. Are you looking for any specific types of apps? It seems kinda pointless to suggest free apps that you won't use. You could just browse the free apps in the Market or Appbrain.

Now, the developer of the app can choose to charge a monthly fee but that would be dealt with through the app or on their website and you would have to choose to purchase it. you can easily find the best apps in the market from these two.
Appbrain (i like this app a lot more)has tabs that let you sort , filter , and categorize apps. -

There are tons, just type in the thing you are looking for like clocks or whatever in the market search and go from there
