Since my last Google Map update (last week), the map does not follow the cursor as I move. I have to scroll the map to locate the cursor, not cool while driving... any suggestions or similar problems? Thanks!

Have you rebooted the phone?
Every couple days I power off and back on to swap batteries with a spare. If that constitutes reboot, I've probably done it a few times since the map upgrade. What about uninstall & reinstall? Thanks.
i had the same issue, until i put the phone into car mode. once in car mode it followed me just fine.
