Does Advanced Task Killer kill my alarm clock?

I should have known. This happened to me a couple times and I couldn't figure out why it happened. Duh.

the android os is meant to support the running of background apps and killing them actually slows the phone down, especially when killing native apps such as messenger or gmail.
believe me i used it when i first started messing around with the droid and heard this claim, i took a look in the android api and one of my buddies showed me why you dont need to kill em...

No ill effects on battery life here... I don't use a Task Killer. Android's OS manages it's applications very well, both memory wise and battery wise.

this happened to me yesterday... I had my alarm clock set, but I forgot to "uncheck" the alarm box on my ATK and it killed my alarm...fortunately, I had a good inner sense of time at that moment and still managed to complete my task on time even without the alarm actually going off...

what i dont get about the ATK is ill click it and apps will show up on the list that ive never touched or opened, and ill kill it and then its there again after a few min.

I dont use any task killers and have very few apps installed but find my alarm clock has been wanting to snooze itself at times, have it set for 7:30 M-F and couple times it hasnt gone off until 7:31 or 7:32, this morning it didnt even go off until my wife called me at 7:37 which it then decided to ring with the phone.
