    Battery Saver Apps?

Do these things really work? Ultimate juice, powermanager, etc.....

My battery has trouble making it through a day and I turn off wifi, gps and bluetooth but still have poor battery life with light use.

    LOL, thanks.

I guess I could leave it turned off too, but that defeats the purpose!

I began using task killer, and then moved on to juice defender, but in the end they just end up using juice and I had to micro manage them. Their more trouble than their worth, but that's just my opinion.

I really like advanced task killer. I have it set to kill all apps whenever the screen is off and it seems to work well for me. I also stopped using widgets and apps that are always running. For the most part i just open something when I want to use. I am a very active user and am very happy with the battery life of my incredible. But only after about a month of playing with it.

There is nothing that will help you save juice. All of the apps out there are basically useless.

Just charge it more often and know if you are actively using GPS to drive you won't have much time.

Otherwise you can leave GPS, Wi-Fi, etc... on all the time and they won't use any juice unless they are doing something - generally something you need.

Same reason that many superstitions never die.

WiFi, GPS and BT don't make much of a difference in my experience unless you're actively using them. It's possible that turning them off might help if you have apps using them without your knowledge and draining your battery. However, as with any battery life issue, you need to look into what's using your battery and tackle the battery hogs. There's no simple one-click solution to fix every battery life scenario out there.

The brightness of your display is usually a big killer. Try putting it at the lowest setting (works well everywhere except in bright sunlight) or at least change it to auto.

Also, check go to Settings -> My Phone -> Battery Usage. It will tell you what is taking up most of your battery life.
