    App To Copy An Image Of The SD Card?

    hey guys, are there any good apps that can take an image of my sd card so that I can have that as a backup?

    Why not copy and paste the contents on your computer? As for an app I'm not sure.

    Why not just copy/paste the contents of the card to your pc?

    When you do things like that with a hard drive its not the best way. Things like permission problems occur. The best way to backup any hard drive is to take an image of it.

    Just wondering if there is something out there for the sd card, I'm almost sure I read about it a while ago...

    A hard drive with active files is different than a mounted SD card that is not being accessed. There's no difference between imaging and simply copying all of the files, as long as none of them are being used by active processes.

    As far as an 'image', any app that lets you image a CD or hard drive from within the OS will let you do the same with the SD card.
