    Good telnet app?

I can imagine this thread becoming overlooked.

But does anyone know a quality telnet app? I actually run a BBS and most of the telnet clients I have used mess up the ANSI and ASCII..

    Any suggestions?

Good telnet app + zerosouls =

Not bad, didnt know about that one... still doesnt do ansi and ascii correctly, but it does use a wider screen and has more options than rTerm.

    Thanks!

Still looking for one that will get ansi and ascii codes correct.

Hmm.. Try AndroMUD, it's actually a MUD client (don't ask, I used to be into MUDs ) but I think it can be used as a telnet client too.

I realize this is an old thread, but I too am looking for an ANSI/compatible telnet client for BBSing... zerosouls, were you ever able to locate a client that fit the bill?

Thanks Backnblack, I've already looked into those... unfortunately they didn't support ANSI; Lunaterm came really close (colors! woohoo!), but didn't properly display the high ASCII characters.

I use connect bot now.. works so great and supports ansi. I am sysoping my board right now from disneyland

Sent by nailing my note to a messanger, punching him thru a window on a 40 story building where on the street level another messanger would take the note from the first messanger and deliver it
