    MP3 to ringtone or ringback

New Droid user and somewhat a techno idiot, so forgive me if this is an easy thing to do. How can I turn a downloaded song into a ring tone and/or a ring back? Thanks for your help!!

I strongly recommend the app Ringdroid from the Market. It's a free app and makes it easy for you to make ringtones from your MP3 files.

Thanks! Worked like a charm. Any idea how to make it into a ring back also?

Ringbacks are stored on verizon servers from what im told so you cant do it without using there site or calling in and paying the ringtone. Hope that answers you question.

...or stick the file in the Ringtones folder on your SD card (assuming it's a supported format).

I, for one, refuse to pay like 2 bucks for a VERY low quality, 30 second clip of a song. Lol. Verizon can't be that desperate for money.
