Amazon - I use this with the integrated scanner to check prices for items and more importantly, reviews on amazon
gTasks - integrated with google tasks, but I would like a widget with a task list on the home screen
Pure Calendar - nice widget to display on the home screen, can use with the google calendar, much better than the integrated widget

Here's what my top free apps are for Droid. What do you all think?

Locale costs 10 dollars?? Are they kidding? Or is that some ripoff version on the market?
Had my Droid for about 2 weeks now...
Here are some I've used the most so far (all free):
I was looking for a better calender app also. I'll prob check out pureCalendar...
- Ringdroid
- Astro
- NBA Gametime Lite - best NBA widget i've seen so far
- Flixster - must-have for movie-goers; loads pics, summaries, reviews, and showtimes pretty quickly
- Where - might probably replace the Mycoupons apps
- Pandora
- Shazaam
- WordUp - a game kinda like Boggle
I also hear MyBackUp Pro is a must. I think it's $4.99. I plan on getting that also.
It is rumored that the dev introduced bugs into the last update of the beta, prompting people to upgrade to the "new" pay version.Did the free versions require upgrade to continue functioning?
I can't confirm or deny, as I never tried it when it was in beta. I don't think it is worth $10 though. The location-based switching needs (a lot of) work and for time-based switching, there are other applications that do it for free. Timeriffic is what I use.
