I still can't believe you suggested they do away with the 24 hour refund policy. Are you kidding me? Do you know what a trial is?
And for the 24 hour return policy, read what the little developers themselves think about it:
lax refund policy leading to app piracy - Android Market Help
You know how easy it is to pirate any PC software? All it takes is to go to a torrent site and hit the download button. I guess no one should release any paid software for the PC either then, huh? Why shouldn't a user be able to request refund within 24 hours? If you buy a product from almost anywhere else you get far longer to evaluate the product before you can ask for a refund so why not with software from the android market?
Oh, and since you seem to think that Apples policies are so great read this...
Apple's iPhone App Refund Policies Could Bankrupt Developers
"We reported yesterday about Apple’s alleged delay in payments to iPhone app developers, but there is more alarming news from iPhone developers about Apple’s refund policies. Apparently, if iPhone users decide that they want a refund for an app (users can get a refund within 90 days, according to Apple policy), Apple requires that developers give back the money they received from the sale. But here’s the kicker—Apple will refund the full amount to the user and says that it has the right to keep its commission. So the developer not only has to return the money for the sale, but also has to reimburse Apple for its commission. Apple charges a 30% commission on all paid apps sold through the App Store. So basically, developers get 70% of a given sale but if the end-user wants a refund, the developer has to pay Apple 100% of the sale."
Just because you want something really really badly doesn't make it so. Android as a platform is not as appealing to developers as the iPhone and this isn't me talking, it's the developers themselves saying it.
You seem to think I'm your adversary but that's something made up in your mind I assure you. I'm not an Apple fanboy. I posted what I posted because I want the same high quality apps on Android that are available on the iPhone. I want Google to work to make the platform more appealing so more quality apps will land on Android phones.
Look at just about any app that is available on both platforms and tell me which is better. Why does Monopoly on Android look like it was ported from the original NES when it looks amazing on the iPhone?
Also, you're a dick.
Funny how you ignore the article I posted which completely makes your previous comments look ridiculous proving that you have no idea what you're talking about. Go ahead and resort to name calling because you've been proven wrong.
