    Juice Defender Ultimate

I bought Juice Defender Ultimate and it seems to be helping my battery life. Only thing is, I use Google Voice and I'm not getting texts unless I turn the screen on and wait til the Google servers sync. Are there any settings that I'm missing that will fix this?

Nobody? I guess it doesn't work right unless you use texting through the carrier...

I have but I'm still not getting notifications unless I turn the screen on and wait for it to sync. I also lowered the data threshold

Did you chose "enable/screen off" rather than "enable"? This could avoid having to turn the screen on for data to be enable.

ya it sounds like your data is being toggled off when the screens off. That's the only downfall for these battery saving apps; they mainly rely on shutting things down when the screen's off, so when you need data for chat apps or in your case data texts, you need data on almost all the time to receive items on your phone.

This, plus check the setting for AutoSync. I have mine set to Ping, then under Schedule I have it set to turn on every hour for 2 minutes (you can have it check more often, but this suits my needs). I have no problems getting texts (I'm almost always on Wifi, but I don't believe that would matter).
