    Are task killers worth using?

So I'm a brand new Droid user. One of the first apps I downloaded was Super Task Killer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tqin.aotkiller).

After using it for a while I'm wondering, is it worth having/using?

How come though? Don't running task slow it down or soak battery?

@jntdroid thank you for the links. That was exactly what I needed. The PC Mag article seems to show that it really doesn't increase or decrease battery life in any substantial way. I do appreciate the point in Droid Life about how the OS is developed to manage processes so leave it do it's job.

    Thanks again!
