rooted incredible 2 cant receive mms

i am currently running RcMix3d on my incredible 2. It was working great until it stopped receiving mms messages. I tried doing the following:

clearing data from messages
deleting telephoney. db
changing the apn settings
changing the mms settings on the phone
downloading fix apn
doing fix permissions in ROM manager

none of these worked...can anyone please help me!?
i really don't want to do a wipe and reflash.
