GetJar Gold Has Top Applications, For “Appsolutely” Free

GetJar is now introducing GetJar Gold. Having a nice list of paid apps, for completely free. It definitely resembles Amazon’s route of bringing in more traffic by offering free apps, but we as consumers, are not going to complain. For their first round up of free apps, we have some great ones: Backbreaker, SwiftKey X, Age of Zombies, and a few other well known titles.

Go check it out and get yourself some free apps. Is it not great when companies give us what we want? No telling how developers will feel about this, but we’re hoping GetJar isn’t completely ripping them off as it seems other companies might be doing.

Update: As our friend Artem pointed out in the comment section below, GetJar is known as a one time download site for apps, with no real support for app updates. We shall see soon enough if GetJar has implemented a new system possibly to update paid for apps you get for free through their Gold program.

Just downloaded solo, full version and it works great. Some of the apps take you to the android market and still let you download the full versions for free, so Im liking it so far..
