    LTEonOff App

I just downloaded this app on my thunderbolt to try and save some of the horrible battery life, but i do not know what the options that it gives me mean, can someone plase tell me what these mean in average joe terms?

    CDMA Auto (prl)
    CDMA only
    EvDo Only
    CDMA+LTE/EvDo auto
    LTE mode

    Thanks!

Those are different revisions of the style of technology you are sending and receiving data and voice with. It really depends on what your service is in your area as to what I would set it on. I don't have LTE yet where I live so I wouldn't want my phone looking for it, but EVDO is a type of cdma so I would at least those I would choose cdma LTE/EVDO. Dunno if that answers it at all, but its a start.
