screenshot program for unrooted phone

I've looked around some and don't see what I am looking for.

I know that previously there wasn't a program that would take screenshots on an unrooted phone. Is that still the case?

Nothing I know of for a non-rooted device.

You can do it with the android sdk. Check out the first post on the droid x forum screenshot thread. I just did it with an unrooted DX. If I weren't on my phone I could look up the article.. There's a blog post that explains it.

There is one for non rooted but it takes a rocket scientist to configure. If you look on appbrain there are a couple that say "may require root"....chances are they "DO" require root though.
