    Is their an app that you can get to access you home PC thru it's wifi and open and use pdf documents and other items that are on your PC

    If you just need access to files on your PC then most file managers (Astro, Estrongs, etc) will do the job.

    If you want to remote to the PC then that's entirely different.

    try remotedroid, it acts as a mouse and keyboard for the pc through wireless. maybe not what you're looking for but as stated earlier gmote works well too.

    I want to be able to remote from the pc,,at work and open shop manuals and such from home pc from my phone

    There is also DropBox. It allows you to access your files from your phone or any pc.

    look at homepipe online and there is an app in the market.

    Just downloaded it and was listening to music on my computer and was able to view pictures on it also.

    You have to have the files in a folder in the document library on your computer ( I am using a windows 7 pc)

    they have a limit use for free, think it is 10 times a month or a yearly fee.
