Animated Weather Widget (Version 2.4.1) is great.. I'm using the free version & really like it. It's ad supported & is limited to 3 day forecast w/the fourth day locked, the animations are nicely done & you can use a custom background in the app.

ive used weatherbug, TWC, and the news + weather app widgets


I like TWC (what i currently use) you can have your current condition, or a 3 day forecast. your options for widget sizes are
Small: 1x1
Large: 2x2
Wide: 4x1

you can set up each and/or current locations to display severe weather in the notification bar


Weatherbug is also very nice. i dont remember the widgets too much(been awhile since i last used it) but it was a more detailed program in my opinion (better radar, in-app graphics, etc.) i had loads of issues with the current location temp (displayed in status bar) freezing up my phone, so i uninstalled. there is a good chance that was entirely due to my rom too tho, so that isnt really a fair statement to judge it with

its a nice simple streamlines 4x1 widget of the forecast for the day. simple
