    Screenwriting App?

I just noticed there are no screenwriting apps for android. The iphone has one, and as someone who is writing a screenplay, being able to add to it or change it at any point would be fantastic. I would def pay for this kind of app and I'm sure others would too

I wasn't aware there were that many playwrights, let alone that many who use Android. What in particular sets a screenwriting app apart from a standard document editor?

The main difference is the document layout. Scripts need to be formatted in a certain way. You can write it in a document editor, but its more cumbersome to have to constantly make adjustments to the doc to get the layout correct. Here is an iphone app thats supposed to be pretty good

There are a ton of playwrights...just not that many who actually succeed.

It's not a terrible app idea, but as always, there needs to be a group that will actually use it.

Yes I really need a screenwriting application. Unfortunately Celtx has one for Iphone also Windows mobile but not for Android.
I use my Galaxy tab and Htc Desire on location filming but can't access or work on my scripts

Have you contacted the developers to ask if they could port their app? I'm sure there are quite a few people interested.
