Nintendo Ds Emulator possible?
I searched around the forums and hadnt found anything on this topic, and i figure this idea is pretty obvious but have no clue as how roms and emulators are run and was curious to see how plausible the idea was. I know theres ds emulators that run fine on computers but i imagine the controls for certain games just cant be matched. And itd be hard to pull off both screens on the android but maybe you could run the emulator from the computer and somehow connect your android as a controller and possibly even have the lower touch screen port to the droid while the main screen shows on your monitor/tv. Again...maybe this idea is alot harder than it sounds but i know theres alot of great ds games that i would love to play on a nicer screen (two nicer screens at that!)

When programming emulators, there are always key issues to consider. Personally, I think that transferring the input controls while being able to display the game properly (more so the screen size than the rendering, just because the rendering algorithms can be changed, while screen size and resolutions can not), as well as the processing speed of the device are the most important things to look at when trying to create an emulator.
The DS is tricky for several reasons. While I think that some of the phones have the processing power (I might be wrong on this), the DS uses a combination of touchscreen and hard button interaction to play games. This would limit the feasibility of the emulator.
What you're suggesting, to run the emulator on the Droid, as well as port one of the screens externally (via MicroUSB & custom output drivers) would be too much for the processor to handle.

DS currently if I am not mistaken not only requires a type of stylus, it has a specific type of screen that interacts with input form the stylus. I dont think a DS Emulator would be very possible, sadly.

DS emulation on a computer is still a bit of a struggle- DS emulation on the droid is out of the question.

There's nothing a touch screen can't do that a stylus can.
