How to sell an app?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is a recipe out there and i miss it, because I did some advertising for my app and it seems that is inefficient or insignificant.
Here is what I did:
- a blog
-
- 3 press releases
- advertising on forums
- many accounts on android stores
- accounts on social networks
- paid facebook ads
- of course, I registered on android market
etc.
Did i miss something that I could do and I didn't. There is something that I could try out or should I accept the diagnosis: the market is suprasaturated in the category in which my app runs...

Hi, congratulations on your app.
Don't be discouraged, selling an app is much more difficult that a person would think.
There are quite a few factors involved.
In your case, you are involved in a very highly competitive niche.
You didn't mention anything about search engine optimization, both in-app and out.
