A question about the system's reading on various battery's

OK, here's another one by teddy. I am wondering if anyone out here knows why the system reads the aftermarket batteries status differently than the OEM batteries. Is it because the OEM batts are Lithium Poly and the aftermarket's are Lithiom Ion?

Case in point. I have a Mugen extended battery that (according to the 'system' readings) will quickly 'discharge' and then sit on 5% for hours. Yeah, like 60 hours. Then when I reboot, it will read around 80% but still perform (system wise) as above and I can hover on 5% for 20+ hours. Etc.

Yet, when I put an OEM battery in, it will discharge, well, normally. All readings make sense and any reboot of the phone does not 'magically' create more battery % to the system.

    ??

    EDIT/p.s.: UhOh! 420 post . . . .
