You are killing me man. You don't put music on top of the rumble man, never! the flat 4... that IS the music.
Inline 4, maybe... I don't think they make flat fours. Not much point.
Inline six's are so very nice, though.
Er you might want to check the internets before you say things like that. What do you think a boxer engine is, anyway????

Subaru is internationally known for their use of boxer engines in most of their vehicles above 1500cc as well as their proponence of the all wheel drive drivetrain layout, which became standard in most international markets as of 1996. They also offer many turbocharged versions of their passenger cars, such as the Impreza WRX.
    Subaru

    The J-spec version has a 2.0L 304*bhp (227*kW; 308*PS) EJ207 engine with a Twin scrol turbocharger, while other versions of the car have a 2.5L 305*bhp (227*kW; 309*PS) EJ257 engine with a single-scroll VF48 turbocharger.
    Subaru Impreza WRX STI

EJ257 DOHC 16 valve turbo. Originally designed for the NA Impreza STI in 2004 with AVCS and DBW Same exact shortblock as EJ255. Subaru of America designates the same part numbers for an EJ255 shortblock, and EJ257 shortblock Usage: US Market Impreza WRX STi MY04~MY07 (300 hp, 293 hp (New SAE standard)) US Market Impreza WRX STI MY08~MY10 (305 hp (New SAE standard)) Asian, European Market Impreza WRX STi 05~present (280 hp, 40KGh/m)

    LOL.

why would I swoon over the sound of a i4? Every econobox in the country is running an i4 and they sound like crap. The unequal exhaust manifold length and the horizontally opposed engine makes the sweetest sound of any car I can think of.

Thing is a ***** to work on though, changing plugs is no fun.

Noticed a few turbo subaru owners on this forum so far though.

When drilling into plastic it helps to have an indention at the spot you want to drill so that the bit doesn't "walk". When drilling into metal I use a center punch and hammer to make the "indention". When drilling into plastic I use the same sharp center punch but I heat the tip with my propane torch and press the hot end into the plastic to make the "indention".

I don't know if this will help because you may have to drill straight into an angled bevel on the car dock, but I'll find out on Wed, cause that's when my car dock is coming in. (My DROID arrives tomorrow!)

See I wanted to avoid using a center punch as I was afraid of cracking the plastic. It wasn't that the bit walked for me, it was a low light situation and I couldn't see my mark clear enough. No matter, its still just as functional.

And it gives the DROID eye a little more peripheral vision! lol
Anyways, you came up with a good idea in the first place!

you'd be surprised how much "peripheral" vision the lens actuall has. when it's mounted, it almost has a view of my entire windshield. i also have to be conscious of finger placement. whenever i feel like i'm no where near the lens, there's my finger!

we got shafted on this snowfall. we only got a dusting compared to the north and east. i'd have gbs of video up by now. lol.

I know what you mean about getting shafted with snow.......it almost never snows here. We got about two inches of rain here from that storm.

We did to get to play in some snow this weekend though, we had a Christmas party with my family that lives in western NC. There was 10 to 11 inches there and it was a heavy wet snow. Even managed to get my Murano stuck errr I mean "temporally halted". Wish I had had a camera with me. lol

the pic above (and in my avy) was from last year's record breaking snow for the area. us four suby guys had to help push a jeep cherokee up a hill that we were braked on and resumed our business with zero slippage.

    awd ftw.
