Multimedia Dock Flaw?

Why is there not capability to sync and charge with AC at same time. If I use it to sync then my charging takes much longer with just USB. If I use AC then I can't sync. Why not have AC and USB to do both simultaneously?

There's only one microUSB port for whatever reason. Probably because someone else would complain about the added cost. Personally, my dock's nowhere near a PC (everything sync wirelessly anyway).
