How to: Stream MKV M2TS H.264 MP4 via Wi-Fi/3G/4G

Hi all,

This article is about how to use Air Playit to free stream videos formats suchas MKV, M2TS, H.264, MP4, etc to your Android phones via Wi-Fi/3G/4Gnetwork. This application runs as your personal cloud and supports streaming 320 different video formats to your Android phones.

Before that, you just need to:
1. Download and install Air Playit server on PC/Mac;
2. Download and install Android client for streaming video audio music.

Now Let’s take streaming MKV to Android as a simple example:

1: Run Air Playit Server on your computer or Mac, click "Shared Folders" and choose "Add Folder" on the bottom to add the HD MKV video folder from your computer for streaming.



2: Run the Client on your Android phone. Here we take Google Nexus on Android OS as an example. Air Playit does fairly a goodjob in detecting local network by Bonjour Server. It also allows for manual IP address specifying. Click "+" button on the top to specify server address manually.



3: Find the MKV video on your android phone, and then click on it and play.

You can make your personal settings by clicking "Setting", or even convert and download it for offline watching for saving your bandwidth or other purposes.
