    Questions about set up prior to installing...

    I rooted my phone for the first time last night and took it back to stock again just for the practice.

    I've done some more reading and want to try to load smoked glass. I think I understand the process but just want to be sure my phone is ready to accept this.

    Where do i find this, SirPsychoS' SPRecoveryv0.99.2borv0.99.3b

    And do I load it with RSDlite like i did last night when I just rooted.

    Hopefully that's clear. Still new at this.

    IF i remember right yes you need the sprecovery to install most(if not all) ROms

    Since you're new, I'd try DroidMod (sort of dated right now), or ROM Manager to handle your ROM mods....

    Finally Rooted!!!!

    After several attempts with different methods I'm finally rooted correctly. Thanks to all that helped. Its nice to see that little ninja...
