Remember some apps will not work. Also try one of the 221 roms. What you want to do is like is going out to buy a tube tv after buying an led tv

Yeah, I would recommend either Project Elite or Liquid Frozen Yogurt. They are based off the new Android source 2.2.1. Adamz ROM was great for 2.1, but 2.2.1 offers more. I am on Actngrezy's Project Elite right now and it runs very well.

To answer your question. You should be fine installing Adamz ROM if you want to. You are effectively deleting the 2.2 ROM and can install any ROM that supports your hardware specifications. Like someone else said though, you are taking a step back. There are many great developers that have created some spectacular ROM's for us (Droid 1 users).

tried this and something eventually slowed it down.

im not very experienced but something caused it to slow down and i didnt have many apps installed.

im not quite sure what happened.

also my music sound was messed up eventually.

then my sd card would reboot phone whenever i mounted the card back.

using Liquid Yogurt and loving it.
