Absolutely incredible job.......the improvement from 5.0.1 to 6.0.1 is much larger than I had imagined. I'm not sure if it's because I wiped my data before installing 6.0.1 or because I'm no longer using Launcher2 (or a combination of the two as well as the improvements in the code), but my Droid is running MUCH faster, even at the same speed of 700 mhz. Helix is absolutely amazing, and is how the stock launcher should have been.

One question though, for some reason my google search widget is white instead of the normal skin. Is anyone else having this problem? Not a major issue for me, but if there's an easy fix I'd change it back to the darker skin.

coming from 2.0.1 DroidMod and having not played with any of the 2.1 roms, I have to admit this was as easy to install as DroidMod and I appreciate that. If anyone else is thinking they should go from DroidMod back to stock to get the 2.1 I might encourage you to rethink that. This is so easy to install " a caveman could do it " Ha!

just installed this today after coming from sg 5.0.1 and im loving it. live wallpapers working with GDE is what kept me from switching to other 2.1 roms.

question, can we get the skinned facebook.apk and pandora.apk working on this rom?

I get the same problem. I tried 3 times to install,and hit this issue everytime. I just went back to the 5.0.1 until someone who knows why replies!

perhaps they are choosing a boot kernel that is too high for their phone?

Facebook should already be skinned unless you are on the updated one. In which case move them to system as Facebook.apk and Pandora.apk and skin with MM. Otherwise if you still have the skinned versions from older SG roms, just remove the current ones form /data/app and push the older ones to /system/app
