Picture quality is not what I hoped for??

I expected nice big clear pix from my Droid 3 with an 8mp camera, unfortunately they are often small and blurry. Not as crisp or as big as my old Samsung Rogue. Also, the settings are very limited, I was hoping to adjusting settings for size or pixel would solve the problem.

Is there any app that can help?

Or am I expecting too much?

I imagine that a camera enthusiast of sorts will first tell you that the mega pixel count isn't everything in a camera.

Small? Mine come out as 3000+ pixels wide or so. Are you sending them to your computer and viewing them? They may being getting compressed when you send them.

What options are you missing?

Also, how are you looking at the photos when you say "unfortunately they are often small and blurry"?

Mine are 1840 × 3264 pixels.
