Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure how they can ever make a Shattershield screen that will not be so easy to scratch? Then again, there are rumors (RUMINT...?) floating around that there may be a Z3 Ultra and a Z3 Force this Summer. If those are true, maybe the Ultra will have the same specs but have Gorilla Glass? It's hard to say.

Z2 regular is a non force version in my opinion

Play has scratch resistant screen that cracks when dropped. Force has crack resistant screen that scratches when looked at inappropriately.

There is no regular z2 or z3 phones. There used to be moto z in 2016 that wasn't force or play, had same screen as play but processor and battery of force and that was a flop for moto hence the reason they no longer make it.
