I have some reading to do. That first link has tons in it. I don't have the same version as what is mentioned in the second link. I do appreciate the help. Do you suggest that I "re-root". If so does that mean I need to get back to stock first?

I just reflashed clockwork and it started working. Don't know why I didn't consider doing that hours ago. I'm such a rookie sometimes.

Great, Im glad that worked! I would look into flashing RZR recovery, it is bullet proof, and a lot of OG Droid users have the same problems with Clockwork.

I will try RZR recovery. I'll also take some ROM recommendations if you've got them.

cyanogen mod 7 best rom that I've used so far. I don't like the bugless beast roms also just saying. But yes CM7 is the coolest and most smooth rom I've used with my og droid.
